How To Get Your Ezine Account

Article Marketing is one of the best ways of getting unique and quality traffic to
your websites or blogs. It is also a very simple and in most cases a free way of getting traffic to your
pages.
Write good quality articles with interesting content that is
unique and in demand, and google will reward you with first page listings on your keywords.
This is a surefire way of getting traffic to your website for years to come. But be very careful how you go
about posting your articles that you have painstakingly written.
I have not written many articles, but I am now converted into the knowledge that good articles will bring in good content. it is also a fact that these articles
will be around for years to come, and there for build up into a great resource for you.
I recently wrote an article called "7 of the
best wordpress plugins for making money". I wrote it and listed it as a Squidoo Lens and duly opened it straight away. It looked good and I have
improved it over the short space of time that it has been listed.
The 7 or 8 Wordpress Plugins that are listed there are what I use in my blogs, and are a bonus for building quality blogs with great content.
Unfortunately I had a lesson coming from Ezine Articles. I posted my article to be published by this great article directory about 5
days after building my Squidoo Lens.
I then waited the usual 5 or so days for the article to be checked and then listed. Imagine my surprise when I
got an email from ezine articles telling me that my article was a copy, and that my account had been suspended
until the matter had been resolved.
Now I had no problems as I knew that I had indeed written that article from scratch. What I could not understand
is where it was showing up.
I followed the link and found it was a useless blog that had copied my main text and failed to give me
recognition for my lense. Unfortunately because it was a Squidoo
lense I had not put a resource box at the bottom of the lense. I will from now on...
I wrote an email to Ezine articles and explained the situation. This took a further 5 to 7 days to get resolved.
In this time I could not add anymore articles to my account, and should I have failed to show that the article was
mine i could have possibly been banned for life.
The moral here is - make sure you have your articles accounted for. Make sure you do not copy other peoples
articles, or prepare to loose your account. if you are building an article from content taken off the web. make
sure you use copyscape or something similar to check that it is indeed unique.
If you are building a web business that needs time to grow over a number of months or years, these article
directories are your bread and butter. Loose these and you could loose your whole business
