Article marketing has been around for many years now, and is something that you can do almost for free to get traffic to your website or blog.

With article marketing you are your own boss. You can either bring in articles that are already written or you can write your own.

Writing your own is not as difficult as it sounds. To give you a further boost, they will also be unique, which if written correctly and about the item you are advertising could well bring you in a great deal of traffic.

Seeing as traffic is the make all and end all of internet marketing, this could be the almost free bonus that you are looking for.

I say almost free because there are companies out there who will get your articles out to thousands of possible subscribers and views, but they always want paying.

You are your own boss. Write 10 articles on the subject you are trying to promote, maybe a rowing machine and rowing in general, or tropical fish and how to look after them, and publish these 10 articles to the top 5 or 6 article directories and with a couple of weeks you should start to see good results from them.

Be aware that your articles will have to be interesing and not just a readable statement.

Try and find facts that will please the reader and will encourage them to visit your website to read more.

The better quality that the article is, the more chance you have of bringing in the readers.
