Our Review of this eBook

This is the follow up to Rob Benwell's original book blogging to the bank, that came out at the height of Blogging and became very successfull.

Please note that we have links from here to the affiliate page should you decide to buy. Like every other Internet Marketer, we make money from our adverts and affiliate links.

OK, here we go....

Price is $55 for the eBook with a few extras thrown in.

Bonus 1 - Is a value of $1200. This is the components of 5 niche website's for you to build, including images. This is all well and good except on how many other people decide to build the pages purely on the text that is provided. It states that only 100 lucky people will receive these bonuses. There is no way of knowing how many people do actually receive bonuses.

There are some affiliates thrown in - ONE for each subject which is a very small token offer. Unfortunately the subjects chosen, Dog Training, Discus Fish, Golf, Quit Smoking, Wedding Planning are hugh niches for which you have absolutely no chance of getting to the top of the ladder on. Drill down from the main niche with wordtracker or keyword discovery, and you will be able to use the stuff provided.

The other bonuses, Article Installer and Blog Announcer Pro are good pieces of software, but not the best in the market. Are they worth the price. Blog Announcer Pro looks like it can be used, but I would look for a better article assistant, one which is better at automating tasks.

Also enclosed is a powerpoint presentation. Unfortunately this is an old one probably revamped as the Blog Hunter Software that is spoken about for finding blogs no longer works. This is even stated in the eBook (page 5) when blogger changed their code and the software became useless. I know it does'nt work as I own it - and it has never found a single blog. I have seen video's of when it did work, but they are old hat.

The eBook...... The write up makes all sorts of promises of showing you how to make money from blogging using the latest techniques. The detail however does not go into enough depth to actually explain fully what you need to do.

The auto software stuff he talks about is obviously mainly blackhat techniques that assist you in building 1000,s of blogs rapidly and making a quick killing with adsense or other income products. It works, and still works if you follow Day Job Killer - PGI - or ProjectBlackMask that was released about 3 weeks ago.

White hat techniques are totally different and what he originally talks about is stuff that is freely available from Google or Blogger Blogs on how to build blogs for long term success. The book cuts out the searching and sorting out and puts it in one easy place for you to find.

The step by step blueprint - The main stay of this ebook
Looking through this blueprint does not bring any new news or information that will have you thinking you are about to break into blogging without to much effort. It talks about how to build a blog with Yahoo Business, which you obviously have to join and possibly pay for. It then talks about PLR Pro for content for your blogs. Again there is no mention the MONTHLY costs involved in joining them. they are good, but so are many others on the new including Sholten, who provides a far better package for similar cash.

Next we are talking about writing articles for unique content, or getting someone to do this for you. Nothing new here then. More costs involved. It explains how you go about doing this and the places where you can get this done.

It talks about making the blog SEO friendly and including Adsense and banners into the blog. It shows you how to introduce the adsense and banners, and has a diagram or two for these projects. This is his niche and he is good at what he does, but he does not show anything that helps to believe that he is making his money from his blogs. Internet Marketers are great at showing profits from Google and Clickbank. What you need to see are figures showing an increase in traffic from the day the blogs where made to the day of release of his ebook.

We are then introduced to yet another expense for the purchase of a getresponse account to set up your daily emails. This is also a monthly expense that you will always need to pay as long as you have one product that works as you will have all of your weekly autoresponders running with them.

A better option is Autoresponseplus which is a one off payment. Here is my affiliate link to this software. If you have products or information that does not work and you no longer need your autoresponder account for a couple of months, at least you do not have to fork out $19.99 a month for nothing.

Further talk is on pinging, linking, buying links and link metro for getting links to your blogs. .none of this is new stuff and can be found very easily with a little searching.

Next is web 2.0 Traffic Promotion - Mike Worthington - Mike who?

In this section there is interesting research and information on Squidoo and a good piece on how to set up and get your Squidoo account running. Unfortunately there is nothing there to back up that this is a money earner. I know it is, and this affilaite link to Micro Niche Finder shows you exactly how to make money from Squidoo, and at $67 its an absolute bargain.

There is good coverage of DIGG, Delicious and Technorati.

More talk on money techniques including a very short spiel on LSI ( Latent Semantic Indexing ) Look it up on Google for a full review. it basically means the more you put on a page about a subject, but not all in the same sentence, the more google will recognise what that page is about, and place adds accordingly.

There is a section on outsourcing and building a blog empire that explains where to look for people to help you to achieve this. It skims over the top and barely touches the surface of what is required to complete this project.

There are a couple of other small pieces before it finishes and then the usual spiel on selling the book as an affiliate. Obviously this will appeal to many and it will also be shown by a great deal of Super Affiliates promoting the book.

Overall - Is it worth it value for money wise?

At $55 its not cheap, and the products that come as bonuses are ok, but nothing special. It is no where near as exciting as his first ebook was, and the blog world is packed with books like this explaining how to make money but not actually showing you how the blogs they have built are making money.

Had he gone a little further and shown how his blogs where making money, stats from scratch and other tips like inserting articles and how the links and articles helped to get traffic it may have been worth it.

UPDATE - As with all other marketers there is BAD news. There is an even better way to make money. Should you buy this ebook you will later be offered yet another product which TOTALLY spills the beans on how to make money. This is a typical backend product move by a super affiliate to make even more money from you. I am not impressed by this, as this book failed to show you how to make money

After this note, I personally would not recommend buying.

If you want value for money I personally would buy PROFIT LANCE - which is I believe $77, and is a complete package on how to build a website or blogs. It gives far more information and offers the best value for money on the web. Obviously my affiliate link is connected to this so I will make money from anything you buy from this page or website.

PLEASE NOTE - If you are the slightest bit interested in this product the owner is putting the price up on a weekly basis. This will eventually be a $279 package. If you take a look at what he offers you will see why.
